Alicia + Chad | tied the knot

Alicia + Chad’s wedding was very special to me for many reasons. I had the pleasure of photographing Alicia’s sister Renee + Michael’s wedding in 2006, and Michael’s sister Kristen + Jeff’s wedding two years before that, so I’ve had the unique honor of working with this wonderful family on several happy occasions. Alicia + Chad’s special day had all the ingredients for a perfect wedding day: A glamorous and gorgeous bride, a gallant groom, and — above all — gobs and gobs of glorious light! Held at the Smithville Inn, we had ample opportunity for fun, fabulous picture making, especially since Alicia + Chad made the wise decision to see each other before the ceremony (an absolute MUST in many instances.) My assistant, Pamela Lowe, and I took full advantage of the carousel, the barns, and the beautiful grounds to create some wonderful images for this wonderful couple. Definitely one of my favorite weddings of the year! Congratulations Alicia + Chad! Thanks for making me a part of your incredible day!

Here are a few more of my favorite images from Mary Beth + Robert’s engagement session at the Adventure Aquarium. The lighting inside was pretty funky, and at times I was shooting in near darkness! But we had so much fun visiting the exhibits and mingling with the marine life. Mary Beth + Rob, I hope you enjoy these memorable images. I’m looking forward to your wedding in April!
