A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME
I’m a wedding photographer based in the Southern New Jersey/Philadelphia area, where I was born and raised.
I graduated with a degree in Studio Art from Douglass College (Rutgers University, New Brunswick) where I studied drawing, painting, graphic design, and photography.
I love creating beautifully lit portraits for my clients, but my true passion is telling a story through candid shots and real moments.
I strive to create photographs that take my clients back to that moment in time so they can relive their wedding day for the rest of their lives.
I love walking into the bride's childhood home on the morning of the wedding and seeing one of her parents' wedding photographs hanging on the wall. It reminds me of why wedding photography is so important, and it reaffirms my belief that gimmicks and trends will come and go, but timeless photography will last forever.
My clients like my sense of humor, and they love it when I show them the photos as I’m taking them.
I’ve been shooting weddings since 2003, and I have yet to meet a “bridezilla” (or "groomzilla" or any "zilla" for that matter!) My clients are the best!
When I’m not photographing weddings and portraits I’m probably drawing faces (an obsession!) or creating other art, mostly with my iPhone and iPad (www.cindypatrick.com). I also teach workshops throughout the area (Perkins Center for the Arts, Croft Farm Art Center, MD Anderson Cancer Center, and at my studio in Haddon Township) and give talks and lectures (University of the Arts, Apple Stores, and camera clubs and organizations throughout the Philadelphia area.)
I would love to be a part of your magical day! Please complete the form on the contact page to send me more information about yourself, and I'll do the same.
