What are your wedding photography rates?
I've taken great care to put together five comprehensive packages to include the most asked-for items most couples want. My packages are completely customizable, and you can even create your own custom package if you'd like! What is your photography style?
I guess you could say that I have a blended style. I enjoy creating beautiful portraits for my clients, but for most of the wedding day I'm a photojournalist quietly seeking out the real, unscripted moments that happen between real people that make each wedding and each relationship unique.
Do you take family photos?
Yes, of course! You won't find examples of these in my online portfolio, but I strongly believe that family photos are an important part of every wedding, as they are part of your family history.
Do you offer engagement sessions?
Yes! I love engagement sessions, as it gives us a chance to get to know each other and work together prior to the wedding day. It's also a great way for you to get past the nervousness of being in front of the camera. Please note that engagement sessions are usually done during the week because of my busy wedding schedule on the weekends, but there is occasionally a weekend date available.
When will we receive our photos and albums?
Your digital images will be ready in approximately 4-6 weeks for engagements and 8-12 weeks for weddings. Albums are generally ready in approximately 12 weeks.
Will we receive print rights to our photos?
Absolutely! Your high-resolution, un-watermarked digital images will be delivered to you on a usb memory stick and also posted online in a private, password-protected gallery. These are yours to keep and do with as you wish. I do retain the copyright to the images and the right to use them for advertising, marketing, etc.
Are all the photos edited?
Your digital images will be edited for correct exposure, color, and white balance. A higher level of "polish" (any necessary skin treatment, cloning, healing, etc.) will be performed on custom prints and albums ordered through me.
How many photos will I receive?
The number of images captured varies from wedding to wedding (depending upon the number of hours, locations, etc.) therefore it's difficult to predict. A good estimate would be anywhere from 800-1000 (sometimes more, sometimes less.) Images are loosely edited, for example I will delete images where someone has their eyes closed, if my flash didn't fire, or images that are near duplicates. Everything else will be included in your proof set.
How much time do you recommend for portraits on the wedding day?
The more time we have, the better! At a minimum I ask for an hour - at least a half hour with the bride & groom and at least a half hour for the bridal party/family. Ideally, 1.5 hours total would be better and 2 hours would be a dream! I will work with you on a timeline so we have sufficient time for these photos to be taken.
Do you recommend a "first look"?
A "first look" or "reveal" is becoming quite popular, as more and more couples are interested in attending their cocktail hour with guests. For single-location weddings, I highly recommend doing a first look. It gives us much more time for portraits, rather than trying to squeeze everything in after the ceremony.
When do you start and will you stay until the end of the reception?
If you want me to stay until the end of the reception, I will, although I don't think it's necessary. I generally stay through all the formalities and end at cake cutting/dessert or shortly thereafter. A typical wedding day is 8-10 hours. Weddings with different ceremony/reception locations generally begin 2 hours before the ceremony start time. Weddings where everything is in the same location start 3-4 hours before the ceremony because there is usually a first look. Again, I will work with you on a timeline to ensure that you have sufficient coverage of all the important events throughout the day.
Do you work with a second photographer?
A second photographer is available in all by my smallest, most basic package. My second photographers often cover the groom getting ready and is there throughout the day to capture different angles and viewpoints. She/he also assists me with lighting, setting up gear, and helping with the family portraits.
How far in advance should I book you for my wedding?
I book most weddings within a year of the wedding date (sometimes more, sometimes less.) I highly recommend contacting me as soon as possible following your engagement.
Are you insured?
Yes! I am fully insured and can provide your venue with a Certificate of Insurance if they require it.
What is your payment schedule?
I require a booking fee/retainer of 50% to officially reserve your date. The remaining 50% balance will be due two months before your wedding date.
Is the retainer fee refundable?
No. The retainer is your guarantee that I will hold the date exclusively for you. Once the contract is signed, I begin turning away all other interested couples for that date.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, I accept cash, personal checks, and all major credit cards.

Yay! Contact me to discuss the details. We can chat by phone or make arrangements to meet in person. I live in Moorestown, but maintain a studio space in Haddon Township. Once a contract is signed and a deposit is given, your date is officially booked!
